Boomerang Unexpectly Rebrands Today!

The new Boomerang logo in the United States, as of January 19, 2015.

Huge news: it turns out that Boomerang U.S. did actually rebrand this morning at 6:00AM ET without notice. The very first program to start this rebrand is the Tom and Jerry short "Flying Cat". So I guess the long wait is finally over. Maybe that's why we have a Garfield Show marathon today.

Heh, funny how the day Boomerang rebranded was also the day I opened this blog.

Anyways, here's how the new Boomerang was relaunched (thanks to Dan's Revenge (from Toon Zone) for uploading the video).

As for the schedule, there's a huge major change occurring on February 2nd. However, it doesn't list any shows on the day (from Zap2it). Usually when there's nothing listed on said day on any Turner networks (especially true for CN and Boom), this is likely a sign of a huge schedule overhaul. I'll post the February schedule as soon as it arrives.

With that said, here are my predictions for the new schedule (I've copied this from my reply on this thread from TZ):

*More Garfield Show and What's New, Scooby-Doo? obviously.
*The rebrand will finally begin. (Note: This prediction is already wrong since Boomerang just rebranded today)
*Codename: Kids Next Door, Tom and Jerry Tales, Mr. Bean and Inspector Gadget (the 2015 reboot) joins.
*Scooby-Doo! Mystery Incorporated, Krypto the Superdog and Baby Looney Tunes returns.
*Numb Chucks will now air weekdays too.
*Teen Titans Go!, The Amazing World of Gumball, The Flintstones, The Smurfs, Chowder, Foster's Home for Imaginary Friends, Pokémon (this one is a maybe since it has over 800+ episodes and it attracts young children as well) and Grojband will leave. The former two aren't even part of Boomerang's rebrand lineup, so they're probably staying at CN only (for now).

And here are the new promos and bumpers (thanks to Nick and More):

Strangely, Turner hasn't mentioned about Boomerang's rebrand today (not even CN mentions about it). Granted, today is MLK Day and usually there's no TV news reports on a holiday, but still...

Well, I say good luck to this new rebrand we Americans finally have. I'll be around most of the time for any recent news and updates about Boomerang, though at other times, I'll either be in school through the weekdays or be very busy with something or someone.

With that said, let's get this party started!
